About CarsbySpec

CarsbySpec is a vehicle specification and research catalogue published by CarsbySpec Inc.. It helps readers compare model years and versions, understand numerical differences and identify what still needs checking before buying a car.

What we publish

The specification library records dimensions, performance, energy use and capacity by model year and version. Comparisons calculate differences between those records. Reviews place available figures in a peer group and include model-specific research where a primary source has been checked.

How the content is produced

Specification summaries, rankings and scores are calculated from the catalogue. Researched buying notes explain selected manufacturer or regulatory publications and link to them. Source coverage is shown on the relevant page; some legacy records still need primary-source verification.

A CarsbySpec data review is not a road test. We do not claim driving experience, comfort measurements or long-term reliability evidence that we have not documented. Car illustrations may be generated and should not be used to identify exact trim equipment or condition.
